Fish can range in size considerably. Our largest fish in 2024 was 10'7" and took the crew over 3 hours to boat.
While keeper seasons are limited, the catch and release fishery is outstanding. We often have double-digit hookups in a day.
April, May and June are prime months on main rivers, while July is red hot closer to Astoria.

What to expect:
There are top quality fisheries on the Columbia River from tidewater all the way up to Idaho. There are also quality options on the Willamette and Umpqua rivers. The location varies depending on migration patterns and time of year. We typically target these fish in either our 24' Edge Marine offshore boat with a full top or our North River 20' Scout with a jet pump. Both are powered by reliable Yamaha outboards and are equipped with top of the line electronics including spot lock, autopilot and sonar. We use top quality rods and reels, gamakatsu hooks and freshest, highest quality bait available.
