Rockfish/Longline - $250 per person, per day.
This is an excellent fishery for new anglers. Kids are absolutely welcome, and they to give the biggest smiles while reeling in 2 or 3 fish at a time!
Rockfishing can occur year-round depending on conditions.
The "long-leader" fishery has a liberal 10 fish limit and can be very fast paced.
The "bottom-fish" fishery has a 4 fish limit, but also allows 2 lingcod.
Depending on the season and your preferences, a determination can be made prior to departure.
What to expect:
Your rockfish trip will begin before daylight, typically at Winchester Bay. The port will be decided based on current fishing information, tides, and currents. Your boat will be an Edge Marine Offshore; made specifically for the Pacific Northwest, she rides the waves like a Cadillac and is equipped with all of the best convenience and safety electronics, sonar, radar, and autopilots, and spot-lock.
The ride out is typically short, but is often highlighted by various marine life: whales, orcas, dolphins, and sea birds.
Once fishing, we provide all of the necessary gear for an enjoyable and successful day on the water. We use top quality rods, Electric Daiwa Tanacom reels, and custom tied leaders.
